It is our distinct pleasure to honor our February Spotlight Award recipients. These individuals have demonstrated exceptional conduct and work ethic at our school
Mrs.Weston (ECS teacher) and Mrs. Weeks (1st grade paraprofessional) have been awarded a $10 Wal-Mart gift card and reserved parking for the month.
Miracle Cook (kindergarten), Chevelle Griffin (first grade), and Terrell Miller (second grade) have been selected as awardees. They will each receive a book of their choice and will have the privilege of painting a ceiling tile that will be showcased in our school.
Our Spotlight Award program is graciously sponsored by Fletcher-Day Funeral Home.

This month 22 students successfully saved 150 Royal Coins each and participated in Lunch On The Town with the principal! Everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly! Thank you to Fletcher-Day for the fun ride!

This awesome team has put together a shopping experience for our girls for this weekend's father-daughter dance. If you sweet girl needs a dress, the shop will be open in our media center from 4:00-6:00 this evening! Thank you to all who donated!

Dear Parents,
We're excited to announce a special opportunity for our female students (K-5) who may be in need of a dress for the upcoming Father-Daughter Dance.
We have various dresses that were generously donated to help make this a special event for everyone. These dresses will be available in the library at Upson Lee Primary School this Thursday, 2/27/25, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
This will provide a convenient and relaxed environment for your daughters to browse and try on a selection of dresses available for the dance, which is scheduled for this Saturday, March 1.
We hope this will be a helpful resource for families preparing for such a memorable dance! Dresses are not guaranteed and will be available on a first-come basis.

2nd graders in Ms. Baggett's Art class have been learning about the changing states of matter by combining a little science into their art. They viewed solids turning into liquids when painting ice cubes. They also watched how water turns from a liquid to a gas when making hot chocolate and seeing the steam rise from their cups. What a fun (and yummy) activity!!

Parents,
Help your child become a confident and fluent reader by working to memorize the following words. When your child sees the word in a story, sentence, or even on a flashcard, he or she should be able to read the word with ease. We will share a few "off to jail" words with you each week!
