The students in Mrs. Holly and Mrs. Michelle’s class got to enjoy a bit of student-led learning after finding a Mediterranean House Gecko! It has been adopted as their new class pet. They researched the animal on the internet to find its origin and watched a video on YouTube to learn how to prepare a habitat. They prepared a habitat and moved it from its temporary home to its permanent residence. After recess, they will take a class vote to determine its name. The choices are Noodles or Mango.

Mrs. Ashley and Mrs. Krystal’s class is already hard at work learning rules and routines! Today we counted how many boys and how many girls we have, and there was a TIE!! Yesterday we worked together to come up with class rules and stamped our thumbprint as a promise to follow them. We also made a chart showing what color shoes each child wore to school that day.
