
Two of our senior football players let the world know where they will be playing college football next year! Today, Dh'King Brown signed with Wofford College and Akeondre Chaney announced he will be playing football for Georgia Southern University!
Congratulations to these young men. We are so proud of you!

We would like to thanks students, parents, faculty and staff for contributing to our annual Toys for Tots fundraiser. We collected over 400 toys this year!!


Mrs. Berry and Ms. Bishop's American Literature Milestone Review is off to a great start! Students built Jenga towers and if they pulled a numbered block out, they answered that number from their worksheets aligned to GA ELA Craft & Structure standards.











Senior Ads have been extended until December 19th! What are senior ads? This is where parents share photos of their graduates and leave them a message of congratulations that will appear in the school yearbook. You can pay online at yearbookforever.com and design your ad yourself. If you prefer for the yearbook graphic design staff to make your ad, you can pay by cash or check to Mr. Norris in room 203. You can send photos digitally or have photos scanned when you pay. Full page ads are $300, 1/2 page are $200, and 1/4 page ads are $125.
Yearbooks are currently $80 but will raise in price to $90 after the Christmas holidays. Make sure you buy your yearbook in room 203 or pay online at yearbookforever.com before December 19th.

Important reminders for students when they return from Thanksgiving break.
Exam exemption forms may be picked up in the front office on December 2 and must be returned December 6th.
Early release forms for December 19th will be available in your 4th block class starting December 2nd and due back to your 4th block teacher by Friday December 6th. Students that do not bring back the form completed will not be able to check out on December 19th until all early release students have been released.


Save the Date! An important Scholarship Saturday Financial Aid workshop will be happening on January 25th at Gordon State College! Check the flyer for information on how to sign up for this event!


Now through December 3rd, students in Beta Club, National Honor Society, Key Club, and NJROTC can earn community service hours by donating a new unwrapped toy to Toys for Tots. ULHS is also a Toys for Tots drop off location for Thomaston-Upson County. All toys donated will be distributed in Upson County. Students should take their donation to their club sponsor. Community members can drop off in the front office.


Students in Mrs. Dennis' ninth grade literature classes have been working on a unit entitled Graffitti: Art or Crime? Students were asked to create their own graffiti or a work of art that represents who they are. The students were graded on creativity, technical skills and expression. They were told to be creative and have fun!
