Congratulations to the following ULHS Band students who were chosen to participate in Mercer University's 2024 Bands at the Grand High School Honor Band Festival Feb. 15-17: Anna Adams - Flute; Avery Greer - Alto Saxophone; Brody Moss - Trumpet; Aisha Derico - Horn; Esteban Maldonado - Euphonium; Mazon Mitchell - Tuba; Riley Baughcum - Percussion; and Kris Serene - Percussion. The mission of the Mercer University “Bands at the Grand” Festival is to provide a premier musical experience and build a community of talented high school musicians in the Southeast. The honor band performed for family, friends, and the community at the historic Grand Opera House in Macon, Georgia, on February 17. Dr. Erin Bodnar, Director of Bands at the University of North Florida, was the guest conductor.
