We are so proud of our three poetry recitation winners who represented their grade levels with confidence, strong voices, and impressive performances! These students stood out and have earned the opportunity to advance to the next level of competition at Griffin RESA in February. Help us congratulate our winners as they continue their poetry journey—we can’t wait to cheer them on! Brentlee Ragsdale, Jackson Fields, Madison Batchelor

Can we get two claps and a Rick Flair (Woooooo!) for these rising stars? Upson-Lee has been, is, and always will be a powerhouse of athletic talent. Before the Holidays, the students wrapped up the FitGA fitness test. These students went above and beyond the passing scores and achieved the Triple Crown. The Triple Crown is obtained by doing over 15 pushups (girls) 20 pushups (boys), over 60 sit ups, and on the 20m pacer test (roughly the length of a basketball court) over 40 for girls and 50 for the boys. These young athletes shined brightly and truly embodied what it means to be an Upson-Lee Knight. Upson-Lee is truly one of the best in the state when it comes to producing not only outstanding athletes, but even better people. Thank you, parents, for pushing your kids to be the best in everything they do! Go UL 💜🖤

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We will be administering our Winter i-Ready Screenings on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. These assessments help us monitor your child’s progress and identify areas where additional support or enrichment may be needed.

Please ensure your child arrives to school on time and gets a good night’s rest. Encouragement and a positive mindset go a long way!

Thank you for your continued support as we work together to help every student grow.

As part of our Red Ribbon and Anti Bullying Week celebrations students participated in a t-shirt drawing contest. The students were asked to design a t-shirt that represents what being drug and bully free means to them. The design had to include a positive message or image that promoted being drug and or/bully free.

Congratulations to our contest winners listed from left to right:
D'errick Walker, Mickenly Woodall, Harper Mallory, Nevaiah Teal, Ty English ,Andrew Vaughn, Cameron Ingram, Lylah Sewell. Not Pictured Rosa Rowe and Gracie Fioravanti
