What an exciting day for Upson-Lee High School Cross Country! BOTH our boys' and girls' cross country teams are headed to the GHSA State Championships!
The boys' team finished 7th at Sectionals and earned an impressive 2nd-place finish in the Region, while the girls' team placed 10th at Sectionals and 3rd in the Region. Adding to the excitement, Nick McCormick and Jacob Boswell earned individual Region medals with outstanding 4th- and 7th-place finishes, respectively!
Both teams will compete in the GHSA State Cross Country Championships on November 6–7, 2026, at Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Georgia.
Thomaston-Upson County Schools congratulates these talented student-athletes and their coaches on their hard work, dedication, and outstanding accomplishments.
