This past Tuesday, Thomaston-Upson County Schools Superintendent Dr. Tret Witherspoon had the opportunity to speak with members of the Thomaston Kiwanis Club about the exciting future of our school district.
During his presentation, Dr. Witherspoon shared several key initiatives focused on strengthening educational opportunities and student success. These included the development of a five-year strategic plan to guide the district's future, new literacy initiatives designed to improve student achievement, and the possibility of establishing a College and Career Academy to expand educational pathways and workforce opportunities for our students.
Dr. Witherspoon and Thomaston-Upson County Schools extend a sincere thank-you to the Thomaston Kiwanis Club for the invitation and, more importantly, for its continued investment in our schools, students, and community. Partnerships like these play an important role in helping us build a stronger future for every student.
