The Upson-Lee High School NJROTC Unit has been recognized as the Most Improved Unit for Area 9 by the Commander, Naval Service Training Command, an honor that recognizes exceptional growth, dedication, and commitment to excellence within the Navy Junior ROTC program.
The award reflects the outstanding leadership of Senior Naval Science Instructor Chief Petty Officer Anthony Kendall and Naval Science Instructor Petty Officer Marvin Bert, whose mentorship and commitment have helped elevate the program to new heights.
Equally important to this achievement is the hard work and determination of the Upson-Lee NJROTC cadets. Through their discipline, teamwork, leadership, academic focus, and commitment to service, the cadets have demonstrated the qualities that define an exemplary NJROTC unit.
