Community

This past Tuesday and Wednesday, 8th-grade students at Upson-Lee Middle School from Careers, Gifted, and Agriculture classes participated in mock interviews with members of our community. Overwhich are designed to be integrated throughout the curriculum and focus on preparing students for future careers and real-world success.

Through this hands-on experience, students were able to put their skills into practice — shaking hands, answering thoughtful questions, and presenting themselves professionally. Experiences like these help bridge the gap between the classroom and the workforce.

A special thank you to Mrs. English, Dr. Kendrick, and Mr. Wells for coordinating this opportunity and reaching out to our community partners. We are especially grateful to the business and community representatives who took time out of their schedules to invest in the students of Upson County. Your support makes a lasting impact!
