We are excited to celebrate Mrs. Rebekah Busby, Healthcare Science teacher at Upson-Lee High School, for being selected as a member of the 2025–2026 LEAD CTAE Class!
Chosen from more than 140 applicants statewide, Mrs. Busby is part of an elite group of Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) educators participating in this prestigious 9-month leadership development program. Hosted by the CTAE Resource Network, Georgia Department of Education, and GACTE, LEAD CTAE equips educators with advanced skills in leadership, team building, business engagement, advocacy, communication, and more.
Mrs. Busby represents Thomaston-Upson Schools among 18 teachers and 2 counselors selected from 20 school systems across Georgia. The cohort began their leadership journey at Lake Lanier Islands and will culminate with graduation at the 2026 GACTE Summer Conference in Columbus.
