URMC Donation

Upson-Lee High School is proud to announce a growing partnership with Upson Regional Medical Center (URMC) in support of our Healthcare Science program. On Wednesday, Dan Owens, Chief Executive Officer, and Chelsea Peterson, Director of Growth and Strategy, visited ULHS to present a generous contribution to benefit the program.

This support will help provide professional scrubs for students to wear as part of their dress uniforms—enhancing their learning experience and preparing them for future careers in healthcare.

Upson Regional’s investment reflects their ongoing commitment to developing the next generation of healthcare professionals right here in our community. We are grateful for their dedication to education, workforce development, and the future of healthcare in Thomaston and Upson County.

“Upson-Lee High School is beyond thankful for the partnership with Upson Regional Medical Center,” the Healthcare Science department shared. “Their support helps ensure our students gain both the professional skills and confidence needed to succeed in the healthcare field.”

This collaboration marks another step forward in strengthening the connection between local education and healthcare, ensuring that our future health professionals have the tools and opportunities they need to thrive.
