At the annual Georgia Department of Education School Nutrition Program Directors' Conference in Athens, GA, Dr. Cristina Cunningham, Director of School Nutrition, proudly accepted the Georgia Farm to School Award for her outstanding commitment to incorporating Georgia Grown food items into our school menus.
State School Superintendent Richard Woods, Assistant State Director of GaDOE School Nutrition Program Holly Thaw, and Georgia Department of Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper were all on hand to celebrate this well-deserved achievement.
