Newly elected Board members may be paid a per diem and expenses, including registration fees, for attending orientation sessions conducted by the State Department of Education in cooperation with GSBA, either before or after such members take office. Reimbursement requests must be submitted to the Superintendent for approval. Regular meetings of the Board of Education are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Central Office, located at 205 Civic Center Drive.
